Turkish Airlines check-in

Online check-in for Turkish Airlines flights usually starts one day and ends 1.5 hours before departure. Passengers who travel without luggage do not need special service and check-in online or through the terminal, upon arrival at the airport, they go directly to boarding. Service classes

Turkish Airlines offer three classes of service on board. They are business, comfort, and economy.

1. Economy.

2. Comfort.

3. Business.

Welcome drinks at the beginning of the flight. Turkish and international dishes are offered, while served in porcelain rather than plastic dishes as in other classes.

The armchair folds out to a horizontal position. Business-class ticket holders use separate check-in desks at the airport, a special waiting room with meals. Get on the plane last and get out first.

Carriage rules and carry-on baggage size on TurkishAirlines flights

The standard size of hand luggage in Turkish Airlines is 55x40x23 cm. Depending on the class of service, you can carry for free:

· In business class - 2 pieces of standard size luggage lighter than 8 kg each

· In economy class and for children - 1 piece of standard size luggage lighter than 8 kg

At TurkishAirlines, you can include in your hand luggage the baby food necessary for the flight, packed in 100 ml containers and a transparent liquid bag (no more than1 liter in total), medicines (+ a prescription for them), 1 lighter (you must put it in your pocket), cosmetics, liquid for contact lenses, small soft backpacks, other items that are not dangerous in flight. Items purchased in Duty-Free can be taken into the aircraft cabin, subject to a receipt and package integrity. Packages must remain intact until boarding.

Meals onboard Turkish Airlines

On TurkishAirlines international flights, special meals must be ordered no later than 24hours before departure. Passengers are provided with about 20 types of menus, including vegetarian, children's, fish, low-calorie, Hindu, vegan, kosher food. Turkish Airlines asks passengers who are allergic to any food to give advance notice.

The composition of each type of menu is determined by the class of service. For example, in business class, passengers are served welcome drinks, barbecues, manti, national dishes from different countries.

Turkish Airlines Flight Cancellation Policy

For cancellations one month before departure, you will be charged a penalty of € 10per ticket. For cancellations between one week and one month, a 30%cancellation fee will be charged. Within one week before departure, a 50%cancellation fee will be charged. Your flight tickets cannot be refunded if you do not show up for your flight. Advertising rates offered by airlines are non-refundable and non-changeable. The above policy only applies to TurkishAirlines flights.
